Bracelets

By applying knitting and crochet methods to metallic mediums—including copper, coloured lacquered copper, silver, and gold-plated wire—and integrating semi-precious new or vintage gemstones, crystals, glass, metal, bakelite, or resin beads, I aim to create bracelets that are both structural, playful, delicate, and sometimes statement pieces.

Every bracelet begins long before the hook touches the thread. Before a single stitch is made, every bead must be hand-strung onto a continuous thread in a precise, predetermined sequence. The pattern is locked in before the work begins. Pre-stringing requires both the bead sequence and the knitted pattern to be fully planned before manufacture. This requires a level of focus, intentionality, imagination, and inspiration, as a single misplaced bead can disrupt the entire design. Beads are securely woven into the piece's architecture. Finished with a secure clasp, my bracelets offer a sophisticated blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern aesthetic, crafted for those who appreciate originality and wearable art.
