This elegant necklace is composed of a mix of one big blue 19th-20th-century Mali teardrop wedding bead, ten blue modern African teardrop beads from Ghana, a miscellany of modern blue Indian pressed and teardrop beads, modern blue Czech glass drop beads, chalcedony drop beads, sterling silver gold-plated rondelle drop beads, 14K gold-filled rondelle separators, yellow sterling silver one-touch clasp.
Age marks, imperfections, minor nicks and digs or scratches on some beads attest to their extensive use. They play a part in the story of beads and add an element of intrigue to each creation.
