This exquisite necklace is composed of a mix of Ancient Roman glass beads, Mali Djenné beads, Mali clay beads, Zircon, Amazonite, turquoise, agate, vintage Indian wax faceted 22K gold foil beads, one vintage openwork Indian solid gold bead, one African 18K gold-plated rondelle spacer, one 925 sterling silver 18K gold-plated lobster clasp.
Age marks, imperfections, minor nicks and digs or scratches on some beads attest to their extensive use. They play a part in the story of beads and add an element of intrigue to each creation.
